Chae Gyeong's mother arrived. Shin quickly hides under the table. Shin signals her to be quiet about him. The mother and daughter continued the conversation, when her mother said that Chae Gyeong should start dating someone. Her mother is trying to hook her up with the hospital director's son. That man is going to the same school as she is. Her mother already saw a picture of him and the father doesn't mind him and Chae Gyeong dating. The nurses were all praises for the man's good personality. Chae Gyeong had already experienced being with an ill-tempered boy and that personality matters when it comes to men. Hearing these Shin gets why her mother does not want him to see him anymore. He tried to stand up to say answer her mother back but Chae Gyeong is stopping him from coming out.

Next Scene
The King finally told Yul that the royal relatives wishes him to be the next King. Yul had a walk at the palace and he sees Shin outside his quarters. Shin told him to take care of the place. Yul remembers back then of how he said those words to Shin when they were kids after his father died. He told Shin to take care of the tree that his father planted. Back then Shin's face looks so sorry and Yul thought it was all fake.
