Shin and Chae Gyeong went home. Chae Gyeong told her mom about Shin doing the housework. Her mother told her that at first she made him do it for him to know housework but she gave up because Shin is so picky.

Yul got a news that the hired man will go to the police to tell his story. He immediately went to see the King to ask for help.

King: have you come to tell me about the incident regarding your mother
did you think i wouldn't know
did you think i wouldn't thoroughly investigate an accident which almost led to the death of the crown prince
of course it's my only assumption if Mr. Im does mention your mother

Yul: please help us
the son of Mr. Im is trying to get my mother involved
the only person who can help is you

King; i am the king of this land
it's hard for me to get myself involved in such a case
but if it's the prime minister he can control the police

Shin told Chae Gyeong that king wants him to attend an official announcement that will happen in the palace at noon. Shin said that after the announcement he will come back to propose to Chae Gyeong. Suddenly her parents came bursting in their room holding a contract. Shin must sign it in order for them to let them get married.
