At Cross Academy
Yuuki Kurosu is a first year prefect in the day class. Cross Academy is a prestigious private school that divides its student body between two groups the Day Class and the Night Class. The day class and night class share the use of the school facilities in rotation. But when the classes change in the evening it's always complete chaos. The reason why students from the day class always crowd around in the evening is because the night class is an elite group of students. And they are completely gorgeous.
The boy on that snowy night ten years ago is Kaname Kuran. He's the class representative as well as the dorm leader for the Moon Dormitory.
Yuki was overpowered by student fans crowding the gate and Kaname helped her.Kaname points out why Yuuki is so formal with him and Yuki said its because he saved her life.
Kaname touched Yuki's forehead saying that what happened was so long ago and that she should not worry about that anymore. A guy pushed Kaname's hand away from Yuuki's forehead.
Guy: class is starting Kuran
This guy is Zero Kiriyuu. He's also a prefect.
Zero: it's none of my business how much you suck up to Kuran

Because the night class isn't just an elite group of beautiful students. The secret that no one knows about the night class is that everyone of them is a vampire. Their job as prefect is just a cover. Their real job is to act as the school guardians. To protect the secrets of the night class. There has been conflict between humans and vampires. Ever since long ago, stretching back into the shadows of history. The existence of vampires is still a terrifying reality. In this country only a select number of people remember the past. The reason why students in the day class dont know about school's secret is because they block off all connections between the two classes.
Yuuki is on patrol when she sees two students roaming the campus wanted to take some photos of the night students. One of the girls got a bruise and is bleeding.
Yuuki: this is really bad
quick get back to the dorms
Yuuki sense that someone is there. She quickly grabbed her weapon.
Its Akatsuki Kain and Hanabusa Aidou from the night class.
Akatsuki: how scary
i'd expect nothing less from the chairman's foundling

Aidou: you are really mean Yuuki

Aidou holds Yuuki's wounded palm and smelled it.

Aidou showed his fangs which made the two students trembled seeing him as a vampire that he is.
Yuuki: stop it Aidou

Zero: drinking a blood while on school ground is strictly prohibited

Yuuki moved the gun away from Aidou the bullet of the gun went up the air.
Yuuki: idiot why did you shoot
Aidou: that was scary
Zero's bullet formed like something
Kaname: it's called the bloody rose
you should be more careful Aidou

When they left Zero grabs Yuuki and tied a band on her wound. Ever since that day four years ago when he lost his family Zero won;t enter a stranger's territory without carrying a weapon.
