But her mother saw no one but black feathers and birds flying away from them.
The world is filled with strange things. It's just that normal people cant see them. Ever since young Misao can see strange creatures and people hated her for this special power. But now she hides it and is leading a happy school life. But is not that easy because sometimes these strange creatures hurt her physically like tripping her on the floor. Her friends really wonders how she trip in a spot when there is nothing. Misao notices that they are more of them lately.
Her 16th birthday is tomorrow and what she wished for is to have a boyfriend.
When she was young there was a boy who was a bit older than her, that she used to play with a lot. He saw the same things that she saw. The boy gets rid of the monsters when he sees Misao crying.When she found out that he was going somewhere far away she cried. The boy promised to come back for her. He was her first love.
But the truth is Misao never get used to these creatures and sometimes she faints in fright. She is still waiting for that hand but she dont even know his name or his face or even who he was.
Outside a guy is asking Misao to date him. Isayama, a 3rd year tennis athlete, he is one of the top 5 best men in the school. Misao does not understand why the guy took interest at her. Misao excuses herself that she is going to have a fever and needs to go home.
But the truth is she wanted to run away. She thinks she is stupid and needs to stop waiting. As she nears home she notice that the house next door's gate is open. Did someone move in to that vacant big house.
Misao takes a peek inside
Misao realized that it was a man and he is calling her name.
Kyou introduces himself saying that he haven't seen her in a while. And that he used to live in the house 10 years ago. They used to play together.
Kyou removes a creature sticking on Misao's shoulder.
Kyou: you really dont remember do you
i'm going to be living here again
so if there is any problem at all call me
Kyou gave Misao the flowers he was just picking that day.
Misao realized that the guy was her childhood friend and that he came back for her. But that was a children's promise so he couldn't really be serious. He remembered her face. Misao sure is glad that she waited.
The next day is struggling away from the creatures hanging in her back.
This is not like yesterday. It's gotten much worse.
Isayama approached her and said that he wants to talk to her for a minute.
Misao sees that Isayama is holding something in his pocket, she thought it was a present for her birthday and she cant possibly take it. But
Isayama: it's to shallow
And he tried to pin her on the tree
Isayama: obviously i am going to eat you

once every hundred years a human like you will be born
when a goblin drinks your blood
he lives longer
if a goblin eats your flesh
he will obtain eternal youth
if he marries you
you will bring prosperity to his family
well most of the time
you just get eaten
Misao: what do you mean

i didn't know any of this
The thing that comes to Misao's mind is Kyou's face and that she does not want to die after finally meeting him. She screamed Kyou's name.
Kyou: now do you remember
i came back for you
Misao is my bride
sorry for being late
i bet you were terrified
Kyou then pays his attention to Isayama
Kyou: for a small fry like you who does not even have a body of its own
who must possess a human body
my powers are maybe too strong
Isayama: black wings
youre a tengu
After the demons leaves Isayama's body, the boy fainted.
Kyou: now let me see that cut
Misao: no
i'll just go to the clinic
Kyou: and how will you explain the injury
you never listen
Kyou forcefully open's Misao's uniform
After Kyou licked her the wound disappeared and is now healed. He's really not a human.
Kyou: dont worry i dont intend to eat you
But then Kyou grope her breast and said that her breast could be fit to eat
Kyou: lets go to my house
Misao screamed
Kyou: why not
i told you i'd come back for you as my wife
Misao: that was just a children's promise
i didnt know that you were a goblin
But in her heart Misao believes that so called children' promise and waited for it for real
Misao: this is terrible
Kyou: the 16th birthday is the so called opening day
it doesnt matter whether you want it or not

Misao somehow thought that it was all a dream, a long and very realistic dream
At school the principal introduces a new teacher, and it was Kyou. Misao's friend are really happy seeing that their new teacher is so hot, but Misao is speechless
