Goong Chapter 159

The students were amazed and puzzled of what these two royal women is doing in their school. They came to pick Chae Gyeong.
Inside the car Chae Gyeong feels the awkwardness in the atmosphere. She begins talking bout the queen called Shin to go with them. Chae Gyeong is surprise that Shin is also there. The queen ask why was Shin hiding in the corner. Shin answered that he was there to meet a friend. Chae Gyeong is annoyed that Shin would not admit that he came to see her. They bicker.

Shin's grandmom: there is something this old bat would like to ask
were you not sharing a summer home together a while back

Shin: yes

Shin's grandmom: did you have sexual intercourse

SHin: what are you saying
it's bright outside

CG: excuse me what did you say
i think i heard it wrong

Based on the reactions of the two the former queen knew it that they did have intercourse.

Queen: i don't know if you've heard this from the prince but
he is soon to be degraded to the position of Daegoon

CG: how could that be

Queen: which means that he is soon bound to live outside of the kyungbok palace

CG: so then Shin's no longer the crown prince

Meanwhile at Chae Gyeong's house the King is there with men bringing gifts to her parents. The king said that he is there to ask Chae Gyeong's hand in marriage with his son Shin.

minus his ill-tempered personality
he's not a bad kid yet why

The queen grasps Chae Gyeong's hand

Queen: yes i know his persoinality can be quite hard to deal with
as the prince security was always strict
on him and he never spent real time with his family
that's why rather than his real personality
you would see a cold well mannered man

while earning the freedom of the outside world
he will lose the security guards whom insured his safety

The royal women drop the couple in a street. Chae Gyeong had the chance to ask Shin for keeping all these events from her.

you should have talked to me

Shin: just i was embarrassed

CG: why would you be

Shin: i know that i didn't do anything wrong
and i have nothing to be ashamed about
but strangely
it was just embarrassing situation
i was afraid that you would pity me
i've finally gotten rid of the load i thought was heavy
i should be walking lightly
towards the future but

CG: do you want to convince my parents
let's be together
i'm prepared for it now
