Vampire Knight Chapter 5

The Chairman introduces to Zero her brand new night class uniform. Zero get more angry and tries to leave but Yuuki stops him. Yuuki express her feelings and says that she does not want Zero to go to the night class. With that, the Chairman gives Yuuki a bracelet exactly the same on Zero's tattoo on his neck. It is used by vampire hunters to tame vampires. Before Yuuki wears it, the bracelet is used to prick on Zero's to have Zero's blood on it. When it touches Zero's neck, Zero will become immobile temporarily. Yuuki must use it to Zero everytime he get out of control.


Chairman: the tattoo even it cant prevent it completely it can suppress vampirism process
you must not let either the day and night call know of your true nature
this is the condition for letting you remain in the day class

Yuuki: it's alright
as long as he does not overly resist it he'll be able to
from now on there is something i must do

Zero: stop acting like you'll accept being sexually harassed

Next Scene

Yuuki decided to talk to Kaname to keep Zero's secret. As she enters the Night section's dorm, it looks like a noble's mansion than a dorm lobby.

Aidou: what are you here for
everyone's sleeping
did you come to offer your blood to me

Yuuki: of course not
I'm here to see Kaname

Aidou: i see come this way

Yuuki: you are showing me the way

Aidou: because leader Kuran is gentle to only you
that's why everyone is curious
Yuuki, whose bite marks are these
last night the scent of blood suddenly wafted into our classroom
catching us all by surprise
I instantly realised that it was the smell of your blood

Aidou kneels down before KAname

Zero is standing on the door to fetch Yuuki

Yuuki: are you alright in the sunlight

Zero: i wasn't born a vampire
finally hearing Kuran Kaname saying that you're an important person
that's a cause for celebration

Yuuki: yes
but it's not like that
Kaname just regards me like a pet
